Shark Arms – :
1000 yard accuracy, we built this on MK18 specs for a customer in perfect conditions he was pencil in the target within a Coke can size circle at 1000 yards….not 100, that’s 1000 yards and I can certainly say this barrel and gas block are a amazing set ,and I would not hesitate to get more barrels from ODIN for our customer, thank to Western Sport not only for offering these but getting them to us with lightening fast shipping when every day counts!!!
Brother Jack (verified owner) – :
Wow! I had heard that OdinWorks makes exceptionally accurate barrels, and I can now speak from experience, all of the people who say that are NOT FREAKING KIDDING!!!
I banged off a mag of some 55 grain mil-spec stuff for a break-in, and then the first handload I tried (69 grain Nosler CustomComp’s with a very healthy charge of Varget under em), just shooting informally off the hood of my truck with sandbags, I slow fire drilled 20 rounds into one ragged hole at 100 yards. Measured with calipers, it came in at 0.683 MOA. I expect that off a real benchrest, with maybe a touch more load development than just stuffing cases with varget till I hear the crunch when i seat the bullet, that this rig will run under 1/2 MOA. And it’s not even stupid-heavy like a typical “accurate rifle” either – the whole gun, scope and all, is just over 7lbs dry weight. I am 1,000% sold!
WesternSport were great to buy from as well – this was the first time I’ve used them, but won’t be the last.
