One name that stands for quality and integrity in the industry is Daniel Defense.  Marty Daniel started the company in order to bring to the commercial market sling loops and rails he designed for his M16.  Demand for these was overwhelming and over the next several years they saw substantial growth.

Marty Daniel’s company set itself above others with its quality of firearms, including its innovative configurations for its brand name Daniel Defense DDM4 Carbine.  As they grew, so did the line of products.  This growth required the addition of new equipment and capital, like the additional Vertical & Horizontal CNC Machining Centers.  This positions the company to gain new advantages in design and manufacturing capabilities. One such investment in recent years took Daniel Defense to the heart of the rifle.  No rifle would be complete without a state-of-the-art barrel. Daniel Defense is one of five companies worldwide that own and operate barrel production cells capable of producing COLD HAMMER FORGED rifle barrels.  This barrel cell, unmatched in the commercial AR market, allows Daniel Defense to bring in raw steel bar stock and produce over 4,000 barrels a month in multiple calibers and configurations.

The multi-million dollar investment demonstrates the “take no prisoners” mentality and desire to grow as a major player in the commercial rifle market.  It’s this mindset that led to them being chosen as the provider of rails.  They provide for the US Military’s Elite, Special Operations Command (SOCOM), as well as being the sole provider of L85 rails to the United Kingdom Ministry of Defense.  Daniel Defense takes great pride in being masters of design and manufacturing.
